About
I’m an artist with a background in architecture and years of experience as a designer. My work explores how geometric shapes and spatial ideas interact – on the canvas and beyond. I’m especially interested in how today’s digital tools and machines can be used to create objects that still feel handmade and tactile.

A lot of my inspiration comes from mid-century modern architecture, especially the work of Oscar Niemeyer and tile designer Athos Bulcão. I’m also drawn to visual movements from the same period – Brazilian Concrete Art, Bauhaus, and minimalism in particular.

Sometimes I focus on the planning and digital side of a piece, and other times it’s all about the making. That shift between conception and execution shows up in my mix of machine-produced and hand-crafted works. I’m always chasing patterns – playing with them, breaking them, and rebuilding them in new ways. I look for a balance between simplicity and complexity – enough order to ground it, enough irregularity to keep it interesting, ultimately letting each piece find its own rhythm.

My paintings are a way to bring digital ideas into the real world through slow, manual techniques. There’s something grounding about the hands-on process that feels incredibly meditative.

Whether it’s made by hand, machine, or a bit of both, I’m interested in that space where the virtual and the physical meet.
